Andrew Stevenson

Andrew specializes in working with business owners on their overall operations providing effective succession planning, structuring for business sales, maximizing sale values all while ensuring businesses and families are protected throughout the process.

Andrew has 30 years of experience as a Financial Advisor and is a Co-Founder at Bloom Wealth & Legacy Planning. Andrew holds his Life & Health Insurance Licenses and conducts business development for the firm and participates in comprehensive and high level strategic planning for Bloom Wealth & Legacy Planning, especially in the areas of insurance, estate planning, corporate structure and taxation issues.

Planning for the future has been the foundation of Andrew’s career, protecting what’s important, solidifying a legacy and ensuring peace of mind.  His extensive experience with small and medium sized corporate operations over the past 30 years ensures that no opportunity is overlooked from a personal, corporate or trust perspective.

Andrew also operates an independent consulting firm outside of his role with Bloom.

Andrew has received the respect of the life insurance industry by obtaining the Top of the Table and Life Member designation of the Million Dollar Round Table and in October 2008 Andrew became the 28th inductee into the Sun Life Financial Hall of Fame.

Along with serving on many industry-related advisory committees, Andrew has been a platform speaker at various business conferences and charity fundraising campaigns. Andrew is a lifetime member of the Canadian Progress Club of Halifax, past board member of the Abilities Foundation of Nova Scotia and past chair on the board of the Nova Scotia Arthritis Society. He was the chair of the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike Ride for 2007 and contributed to a strategic planning project with the QEII Cardiology Department based in Halifax.

Andrew’s first passion is his family, followed by his clients and his love of the great outdoors where he enjoys mountain & rock climbing, skiing, sailing as well as golf with family and friends.
