News & Notes

We are pleased to invite you to a singer songwriter benefit concert in support of
Catapult Leadership Society.

On January 13, 2017, Bloom Wealth & Legacy Planning will present “Illumination” showcasing Grammy award-winner, Gordie Sampson, along with Rose Cousins, Mo Kenney, and The Heartbroken (with lead singer, Damhnait Doyle).

The concert, emceed by Nancy Regan and Danny Graham, will take the stage at Paul O’Regan Hall at Central Halifax Library.

Proceeds from the concert will go directly toward supporting Catapult’s world-class leadership programs for youth across Nova Scotia.

There are so many organizations in our community doing incredible work, but youth development is an area we feel strongly about and we can see how impactful their work is.  Catapult’s focus is on a group of teens who have strong potential yet do not have access to experiences and opportunities that develop personal growth and confidence.  Catapult Camp and its Extended Program show these students that anything is possible and that their current circumstances do not define who they are.  Catapult encourages youth to dream big, to believe in themselves, and to pay it forward by making a difference in their schools and communities.

Illumination also launches an online auction as part of the fundraiser which runs today until November 25th  featuring great items including four rounds at Cabot Cliffs, private curling clinic with Team Colleen Jones, and much more!

We thank you for your continued support and invite you to join us for a spectacular showcase of music that will raise awareness and funds for youth in our community.

Let’s pay it forward this holiday season.  We look forward to seeing you on January 13th!
