Our financial services firm is dynamic and growing. We have an immediate need for a Financial Advisor to join our team in Halifax, NS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of company operations and client service related to insurance and investments
  • Transition into new business development over time
  • Coordinate with banks, insurance and investment companies on behalf of clients and senior advisors
  • Coordinate effectively with clients and suppliers on renewals and transactions as part of our client service team
  • Conduct ongoing financial analysis for individual and corporate clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with individuals, families and business owners
  • Work with senior advisors and our network of influence to identify client needs and ability to assist in creating personalized financial strategies and solutions
  • Exceptional tracking of client deliverables with unparalleled attention to detail and follow through to ensure client satisfaction

  • Strong coordination skills who works well with a highly engaging client service team
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • You do what is right and work with the highest level of integrity


  • Ideally possess a post-secondary education and CFP, CPA, MBA considered an important asset for this role (Willingness to obtain designation)
  • Experience in personal and corporate tax ideal but not required
  • Experience in insurance and investment administration ideal
  • Ideal (but not required) Life, Accident & Sickness and Mutual Fund licensed (Willingness to obtain licensing)

Starting Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary: $90,000 annually
  • Benefits (100% covered minus LTD)
  • Yearly bonus opportunities
  • Commission opportunities
  • Cell phone/cell phone plan
  • Vacation approximately 4 weeks per year
